Urban Myth Dissolution Center
Urban Myth Dissolution Center drops you into a pixel-art city that got under our skin while we were making it — and honestly, it hasn't let go — the kind of place where a rumor or a shadow in the wrong alley might actually mean something.
Gameplay
You play as a detective who doesn't just follow clues — you can sense things most people would miss. That makes every case feel a little off from the start, in the best way.
You'll search crime scenes, abandoned corners, quiet backstreets, and places people probably should have stayed away from. Along the way, you'll collect evidence, talk to witnesses, connect small details, and slowly figure out what's actually going on beneath the surface.
Some moments feel like classic detective work: reading notes, checking suspicious objects, asking the right questions. Other moments lean into the supernatural, where your unusual abilities help reveal hidden traces, strange memories, or truths that don't want to stay buried.
No two cases feel the same — some are slow burns, others hit you fast. One episode might have you piecing together a coded message, while another puts you face-to-face with someone who clearly knows more than they're saying. The deeper you dig, the more it feels like the city already knew you were coming — and yeah, that's not a great feeling.
Episodes
The game's broken into episodes — each one a different legend, a different mess to untangle. Every chapter has its own case to solve, but they're all tied to something bigger — something you won't clock until it's basically slapping you in the face.
You'll move through the kind of places you'd normally walk past fast at night — subway tunnels that smell like something happened there, rooftops nobody's been on in years, and other places that feel like they've been waiting for trouble. Each location adds another piece to the city's hidden history and gives you a better look at what the Urban Myth Dissolution Center is really dealing with.
New episodes bring new characters, new locations, and new legends to untangle. Past cases may also be worth revisiting, because you'll probably kick yourself for missing something obvious on your first run.
Features
Pixel art we drew by hand — dark streets, weird lighting, the kind of city that looks wrong at 2am.
Each episode is its own mystery, but the weird stuff — the supernatural bits — keeps bleeding through.
The usual detective stuff is all here — poking around crime scenes, grabbing clues, trying to figure out what the hell connects to what.
What you say in conversations actually has weight — stay quiet at the wrong moment and a case can go sideways in ways you won't see coming.
The sound design is doing more work than you'd expect — it's subtle, but you'll notice when something feels off.
Controls are kept simple so they stay out of the way — you're here for the mystery, not the interface.
